Agency adoption

How to Complete a Kentucky Adoption
After a baby is born, the biological mother has 72 hours before giving away consent and terminating her legal right as the child’s parent. After placement, your adoption attorney and/or home study professional will help you finalize the process, which consists of post-placement visits and a final court hearing. During this hearing, a judge will grant you parental rights and the final adoption decree.
